Bandar Bukit Tinggi (also known as Bukit Tinggi; commonly abbreviated as BBT) is an integrated and modern township in Klang, Selangor, Malaysia. The RM4 billion (over US$1 billion)[1] self-sufficient township, which offers a variety of residential properties, has been successful in building a reputation for itself and hence ensuring good returns for investors.


With a total freehold land area of 1,336 acres (5.41 km²), Bandar Bukit Tinggi houses a mixed development of 15,000 quality designed properties including various types of double-storey and semi-detached houses, bungalows, medium-cost apartments and low-cost flats. The modern township consists of 3 major development areas, namely Bandar Bukit Tinggi 1 (BBT 1), Bandar Bukit Tinggi 2 (BBT 2) and Bandar Bukit Tinggi 3 (also known as Bandar Parklands). Adjacent to Bandar Bukit Tinggi Klang are some other new and modern townships such as Bandar Botanic, Glenmarie Cove, Bandar Puteri Klang and Kota Bayuemas.

Bandar Bukit Tinggi in Klang has hundreds of food and dining outlets in the township such as Mamak stalls, kopi tiams, bak kut teh, steamboat, seafood, Kajang satay, Western, Asian, nasi kandar, Chinese, fast food and vegetarian restaurants. Nasi kandar outlets such as Pelita and Kayu Nasi Kandar are making waves while hawker centres and Chinese coffee shops are pulling in the crowd.

This integrated township has two large hypermarkets, Tesco and Giant Hypermarket. Bandar Bukit Tinggi also has the furniture galleries, household items, fashion labels, car showrooms, lighting shops, cosmetic stores, hair salons, mini markets, health amenities, computer centres, banking institutions, fast food outlets and recreational facilities to serve more than its 50,000 residents. This makes Bandar Bukit Tinggi the most successful and fastest growing township in the royal town of Klang.

Developed by prominent property developer and construction player WCT Land Berhad since 1997, Bandar Bukit Tinggi is also the home to the AEON Bukit Tinggi Shopping Centre, the largest AEON Jusco store in Southeast Asia. The shopping mall has a gross lettable area of approximately one million square feet and over 5,000 car park bays.

Bandar Bukit Tinggi falls under the jurisdiction of the Klang Municipal Council (MPK). Bandar Bukit Tinggi is represented in the Parliament by the Member of Parliament for Klang, Charles Santiago. In the State Assembly of Selangor, the township is represented by Ronnie Liu Tian Khiew, the state assemblyman for Pandamaran.

The residents of the township are represented by the Residents' Association of Bandar Bukit Tinggi (PPBBT).
