Sibu Tengah Island
Sibu Island Resort on Sibu Tengah is an international resort that offers convention/meeting and recreational packages with facilities for sumptuous buffet spreads and comfortable accommodation in wooden Malay kampong chalets on stilts. Its staff can organize activities that allow for a balance of business and pleasure. There’s snorkeling, island hopping, squid fishing, night fishing, scuba diving, sea cruises and jungle trekking. Evening entertainment is presented in cultural dances while guests can participate and win prizes!
Jetty: A regular ferry service from Tanjung Leman jetty.
Things to do: Explore the various beaches and enjoy close encounters with friendly deer that roam freely in the resort. Take a sunset cruise for that total island experience.
How To Get There
Head south on the North-South Expressway and exit to Air Hitam. Drive towards Kluang and then to Kahang. From there, follow the signs to Mersing. Another route is to exit at senawang and head towards Tanjung Gemuk before going south again on the coastal road to Mersing. Either way, the trip takes five to six hours from Kuala Lumpur. From Johor Baru, it’s two-hour scenic drive along the coast road to Tanjung Leman or Mersing. Both are the gateways to islands off Johor coast.
